Navibulgar (Navigation Maritime Bulgare)

In 2008 Advance Properties stepped into the Merchant Shipping Industry. The company holds a stake of 70% of Navigation Maritime Bulgare JSC (NAVIBULGAR®). 

“Navigation Maritime Bulgare” JSC (NAVIBULGAR®) is the successor of a shipping company established in 1892. Its 129-year-old tradition and experience in the shipping industry inline with the international requirements and standards have turned the company into a leader on the shipping market in Bulgaria, the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean regions.

NAVIBULGAR® is a member of the Bulgarian Delegation at the meetings of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a member of BIMCO (Baltic and International Maritime Council – the world’s largest organisation for shipowners, charterers, shipbrokers and agents, representing 60% of the world’s merchant fleet) and the Bulgarian Shipowner Association.

Currently, the NAVIBULGAR® fleet includes 30 dry bulk carriers. All vessels meet SOLAS standards for safety at sea and operate in compliance with the provisions of the US Coast Guard, Panama Canal, Suez Canal and St. Lawrence Seaway (Canada) authorities. The company offers a variety of options for the carriage of bulk or general cargo to all international trade destinations. 

Recently Navibulgar Group has finalized a new building project and added to its fleet six brand new-built eco-bulkers, of 45 000 DWT each. In 2019 Navibulgar Group has commissioned new construction project for four eco-bulk carriers, of 31 800 DWT each, which was recently extended to eight vessels of this kind in total. The vessels are laker fitted, ready to serve the Great Lakes in North America. The first delivery is scheduled for August 2021 and the last for March 2023.
